Welcome to the Thyroid Centre at PAN Klinik am Neumarkt

The surgical treatment of endocrine organ disorders is carried out within the framework of a coordinated interdisciplinary treatment concept. This includes diseases of the thyroid and parathyroid glands. As part of our oncological approach, we work closely with the Department of Surgery at Cologne University Hospital. At PAN Klinik am Neumarkt, specialized surgeons, endocrinologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and radiologists work closely together within an interdisciplinary, privately run medical center. Different specialties have joined forces to provide comprehensive care for patients with diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid glands, and adrenal glands. Treatment strategies—particularly surgical approaches—are discussed and coordinated across disciplines in regular weekly case conferences. Prior to any potential surgery, all options are discussed in detail with patients during a dedicated endocrine consultation. This collaborative approach enables us to offer both patients and referring physicians a comprehensive and timely treatment program. The close cooperation between specialized departments not only streamlines organizational processes but also ensures that treatments are individually tailored and carried out at the highest medical standards.

Do you have hormonal issues or thyroid conditions affecting your desire to have children? At our MVZ, we specifically diagnose and treat these underlying causes.

An accurate diagnosis is crucial. Our center at PAN Klinik offers state-of-the-art diagnostics, including:

  • Hormone analyses and autoantibody diagnostics
  • High-resolution thyroid ultrasound – supported by AI analysis
  • Fine needle aspiration (FNA)
  • Imaging procedures for detailed nodule assessment (scintigraphy, MRI)
  • Interdisciplinary case discussions for unclear or complex findings

Individualized therapy –
conservative and surgical

Not every thyroid condition requires surgery. Our goal is always to provide a personalized treatment tailored to your individual medical situation. The spectrum ranges from:

  • medical endocrine therapy
  • close monitoring and follow-up
  • to gentle, cosmetically optimized thyroid surgery when medically necessary

Especially in thyroid diseases, patients benefit from the close collaboration between endocrinology, nuclear medicine, ENT, and surgery.
