Private means that our clinic is run by a private organisation. Many people think that we only treat privately insured patients. This is not true, as most of the doctors have a licence from the health insurance funds. Private clinics are facilities that offer high-quality and future-orientated medical services at their own risk, without state funding and therefore "without a net and a double bottom".

1.What culinary delights does the PAN Clinic offer?

The centre offers a hearty breakfast from 7:15 am, lunch from 12:15 pm and dinner from 5:00 pm. Coffee or tea with a piece of cake awaits you in the afternoon. You can choose your meals from a wide range of options. All non-alcoholic drinks and even beer or wine are served at all times (of course only if the doctor treating you does not object).

2.Do I have my own telephone in my room?

Yes, of course, and there is no basic charge. You only have to pay for the telephone units.

3.How does inpatient admission to the clinic work?

Im Rahmen eines Aufnahmegespräches werden alle organisatorischen und abrechnungstechnischen Angelegenheiten besprochen sowie der Aufnahmevertrag besprochen. Es ist terminlich mit dem Prämedikationsgespräch der Anästhesie verbunden. Da ihr Aufenthalt eng mit den behandelnden Ärzten und Praxen erfolgt, müssen Sie außer ihrer Krankenkarte keine Unterlagen mitbringen. Die Aufnahme auf Station erfolgt am Abend vor der Operation oder am Morgen des Eingriffs.

4.Where does the admission interview take place prior to the inpatient stay?

In the patient administration office, diagonally opposite the anaesthesia practice on the 3rd floor of the PAN Clinic. The patient administration staff are available for you at the following times

Mondays: 14.00 - 19.00 hrs
Tuesdays: 14.00 - 17.30
Wednesdays: by telephone appointment only
Thursdays: 14.00 - 19.00 hrs
Fridays: by telephone appointment only

5.When can the PAN Clinic be visited?

The doors of the PAN Clinic are open for you from 7.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. during the week and from 7.00 a.m. to approx. 1.00 p.m. at weekends. Outside opening hours, the ward can be reached via a side entrance (Am Alten Posthof, opposite Globetrotter).
